The Lodge; ( Tigin Sheainin )
This charming “ English Heritage “ French oak framed building has two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
Set in its own grounds with private access and parking. The house faces south over looking the Dordogne river. Its has its own “Gloriette” gazebo and a Spa “Hot Tub” is set into the decking which runs along the frontage of French windows.
The Lodge has been beautifully fitted out for the owners own use. The tiled ground floor has an open plan kitchen / dinning room and sitting room with Satellite TV and DVD player. The kitchen includes all the normal utilities including a dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine. The ground floor bedroom is self contained with its own bathroom. The mezzanine level is accessed via a hardwood spiral staircase to another bedroom and bathroom with a balcony overlooking the sitting room. The main feature is a large mural on the full height gable end. Wifi is available throughout the Lodge.
New for Winter 2011/2012 - Wood burning stove added. Coupled with existing electric heating - ideal for those cosy winter getaways!

Bergerac airport is about a 10 minute drive away. The Chateau Les Merles is only half a mile away. Here is an amazing restaurant/ bar/hotel and Golf club. In the evening have a drink in their courtyard lit by flaming torches or better still stay on your own decking with a BBQ overlooking the river.
